Soil is one of the five nature of elements.We often take soil for granted and forget how a soil has impact in the daily spheres of our life. Soil is the most important element of our life. The food we eat, the products we use and the rawest things we consume in our basis has the presence of soil. A type of soil signifies the quality of our daily consumption. The most basic impact we can have of soil is in crop production. Soil plays a crucial role in feeding the growing population of world. Soils are the basis for life on the Earth. Soils are the pedestal that plants rely on to remain erect. Soils provide the habitat for a vast biodiversity and biomass of soil organisms, and both generate and serve as the repository for most of the carbon and nutrient elements that support life. Soils retain the water that plants and soil organisms use to survive and grow, making an everlasting impact in the ecosystem.

Quality of the soil depends on the fertility of the soil. Our soils are the basis for agriculture and the medium in which nearly all food-producing plants grow. Healthy soils produce healthy crops that in turn nourish people and animals. Indeed, soil quality is directly linked to food quality and quantity. Due to the advancement of technology, the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has increased which has led to the depletion of soil. The original quality and nutrients of soil needs to be safeguarded and nothing could beat the traditional ancient method for same. soil has the energy to produce 100% qualitative crops, giving the best crops for healthy intake in system.

Properly managed healthy soils can increase soil moisture infiltration and retention, nutrient storage and supply to plants, microbial diversity and soil carbon sequestration. Soil organic matter is an important soil property strongly influenced by management practices that affect the physical, biological and chemical functions of the soil.
